From c12cffc543df621c162ba26e012c7f4ab0af496e Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Wolfgang Denk Date: Fri, 16 Jun 2006 17:04:45 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] Add support for CONFIG_SERIAL_MULTI on MPC5xxx Patch by Martin Krause, 8 Jun 2006 This patch supports two serial consoles on boards with a MPC5xxx CPU. The console can be switched at runtime by setting stdin, stdout and stderr to the desired serial interface (serial0 or serial1). The PSCs to be used as console port are definded by CONFIG_PSC_CONSOLE and CONFIG_PSC_CONSOLE2. See README.serial_multi for details. --- CHANGELOG | 11 +++ common/serial.c | 4 +- cpu/mpc5xxx/serial.c | 181 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++--- doc/README.serial_multi | 26 ++++++ include/serial.h | 2 +- 5 files changed, 211 insertions(+), 13 deletions(-) diff --git a/CHANGELOG b/CHANGELOG index af8df174d9..dd73e0bef3 100644 --- a/CHANGELOG +++ b/CHANGELOG @@ -2,6 +2,17 @@ Changes since U-Boot 1.1.4: ====================================================================== +* Add support for CONFIG_SERIAL_MULTI on MPC5xxx + Patch by Martin Krause, 8 Jun 2006 + + This patch supports two serial consoles on boards with + a MPC5xxx CPU.
